Natural Edge Log Fireplace Mantels will be the focal point in any room and we feel our Redwood, Maple, Juniper and Yew Wood Mantels are among the best. We can cut almost any size if we do not have it in stock. The grains vary from burl and curly to root and straight grain. The rustic counter tops or shelves are just thinner cuts from the mantels. Hey George, Rec'd redwood in fine condition. Cut mantle to 8' , and hung it Friday. What a beautiful piece of wood ! it will be @ 3 weeks before counter top is installed. I can't wait ... Every person who has seen the mantle wants to know all about it. We have given them your web address. They all asked about ordering and shipping. Just wanted to give you an update.
