Welcome to FireplaceMantles.Biz, the Fireplace Mantle Division of RedwoodBurl.Com which has been in business for more than 40 years here on the Northern California Redwood Coast. In the last few years both Redwood and Maple Fireplace Mantles have become such a big part of our business, we decided it was time to give our Fireplace Mantles a website of their own. When we started producing our rustic mantles we never anticipated they would ever be so popular on the internet.

No two Fire place mantles are alike, and we make a variety of styles and sizes. Below you will find photo's of some of the fire place mantel styles we produce, click on a photo for more information on that type of mantle, and for samples of some of mantles we have in stock in any particular style.

Our Timber Mantles are usually cut from Old Growth Redwood Timbers, therefore are in fact a recycled wood product. These timbers come from old docks, rail road trestles, barns and other buildings usually having been built in the early 1900's or before. These Timbers actually make some of the most beautiful mantles and have a lot of grain in them. Grain is caused by growth rings in the tree, and the older timbers came from very,  very old trees with a high ring count, therefore plenty of grain in them.

We occasionally have in stock some very unique mantels cut from Juniper and Yew woods.
